Senior Performance Test Engineer (Praha, Brno, Lanškroun or Krakow)

As a Senior Performance Test Engineer, the stability and scalability of the entire ecosystem will be in your hands.
- Design and Automation: You will design, implement, and maintain load testing frameworks for distributed systems.
- Analysis and Optimization: You will lead efforts to identify bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis, and propose technical improvements in code, databases, and infrastructure.
- CI/CD Integration: You will advocate for continuous performance validation directly within the deployment pipelines.
- Real-World Modeling: You will develop realistic test scenarios based on production data and architectural constraints.
- Mentoring: You will become a technical guide for mid-level and junior colleagues, teaching them how to interpret results and use tools effectively.
- Reporting: Your task will be to clearly communicate technical findings and recommendations to both developers and product teams.
We demand
We are looking for a professional who understands the depths of distributed systems and can predict risks before they manifest in production.
- Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in performance testing or engineering.
- Tools: You are proficient in at least one major tool such as JMeter, Gatling, K6, Locust, or LoadRunner.
- Coding: A solid overview of programming and scripting languages (Java, Python, TypeScript, or Go).
- Domain Knowledge: You understand API architecture, databases, caching, and networking fundamentals.
- Mindset: You have experience testing high-traffic, mission-critical applications and possess strong analytical thinking.
- Advantages: Knowledge of cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure), observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana), or experience with Kafka.
